Moorundie Park Poll Merino Stud
Moorundie Park Poll Merino Stud was founded by Eric Davidson in 1955. His grandson Tom Davidson now operates the stud at Gulnare in South Australia’s Mid-North.
Moorundie Park sheep are noted for their large frames and free-growing white wool. We continue to maintain a focus on profit driving attributes such as fertility, early maturity and robustness. A measure of the stud’s success has been the excellent results achieved by its clients who consistently feature in all regional livestock markets.
Moorundie Park will host a display at Burra as part of the Mid North Field Days in February, where a number of our sheep will be on display. A display will also be at Keith as part of the South East Field Days in July and at Jamestown as part of the Northern SA Merino Expo. Rams will be offered for sale at our On-Property Ram Sale on Friday 13th September 2024 which can be viewed at our Open Day on Monday 26th August 2024.
We endeavour to breed profitable merinos and build an honest and friendly relationship with our clients. We welcome your enquiry.
